Amber and Mikey have one of those love stories that warms your heart. They met as roommates over 10 years ago and, somewhere between sharing spaces and sharing laughs, they fell in love. Fast forward to today, and they are now expecting their very first child together.

Castle Rock Bay is one of my favorite spots for maternity photography in Lake Havasu because it combines serene desert landscapes with peaceful water reflections. The calm ripples, the golden tones of sunset, and the mountains in the background make it the perfect natural backdrop for love stories like Amber and Mikey’s.

 For their shoot, we planned it just before golden hour to capture that dreamy, soft light. Amber looked radiant in a flowing cream dress, standing knee-deep in the water with her reflection perfectly mirrored below. The moment was pure magic.
